Bartenders don’t generally ask how much vermouth to use …. Maybe they should though? As you can see by its light color, this drink is very heavy on the bourbon ( and possible residual glass “cooling” water), and light on the vermouth. From where I am sitting, this imbalance defeats the purpose of the cocktail.
