While having a pleasant lunch in Cotignac at Cafe Du Cours had had the good fortune to enjoy a bottle of Mirabeau “Pure” Rosé. I might have been the lightest colored Rosé wine that I have every had. On this particular warm day while house hunting, we found it very refreshing and perfectly paired with our lunch filled with locally grown greens.
The wine itself was light, very light (almost too faint for me to recognize as a provencal Rosé) but it certainly did look sophisticated and elegant. It had a beautiful floral nose of morning lavender and a the trace taste of white pepper on the tail that leaves tongue dry.
